In 1990 I attended D.T.I. Institute in Orange, Upon graduating I was hired by Allen Shapiro one of my instructors, to work for Yamaha Motor Corp. USA. Mr. Shapiro was the mentor who taught me a don't-miss-deadlines philosophy and how to design well, without losing anything in the print process.
Throughout my career I have used the experience at Yamaha, to design everything from magazines, posters, web graphics, catalogs and packaging for a number of major companies. I even worked for a drag racing company!
5 years ago my life was interrupted by a motorcycle accident. I have recovered fully now and am ready to re-enter the graphics world professionally.
Freelance jobs challenge me. After attaining a well-rounded understanding of the market and the company role within it, I'm able to meet the design and production demands. I'm a great team player when collaborating on concepts and then seeing a project through to completion. I have worked under heavy deadlines many times and am accustomed to getting creative on demand and making it count, I'm known for being able to "get the job done".
I created the application Beautiful Places on Facebook. I have 1,500 fans and over 69,854 active users. I have a lot of fun coming up with ideas for more Beautiful Places all the time.
